Worship With Us

When we acknowledge that our humanity has spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and physical dimensions, then becoming curious about faith traditions, spirituality, and worship are common threads that bind people together. If you find yourself intrigued by Christianity as it is expressed in the Episcopal Church, you’re not alone. With our rich history rooted in the broader Anglican and Catholic tradition, the Episcopal Church offers a unique blend of spirituality, community, and service that has drawn people in for centuries. Our website aims to provide a friendly and informative introduction to what the Episcopal Church is all about, touching on its history, worship style, values, and beliefs. Our clergy welcome questions and discussions about life, faith, philosophy, theology and spirituality. Schedule to have a coffee and conversation with Fr. Dave!

The Episcopal Church is LGBTQ+ affirming. ALL ARE WELCOME!

Worship Services

Sundays 7:30am & 11:00am

St. Matthew’s, 5900 7th Ave, Kenosha, WI 53140

At the heart of the Episcopal Church lies a community dedicated to worship, fellowship, and spiritual growth, and our Sunday services offer a warm and inviting experience for all.

On Sundays, we offer two Masses: an early morning spoken Eucharist (there is no music at this service) and a sung Eucharist as the principle service later in the morning. The principle service includes the use of our historic pipe organ, hymns, service music, and chant and special music provided by our adult choir. Our liturgy is drawn from The Episcopal Church’s 1979 Book of Common Prayer.

Masses are also offered for the major feasts and commemorations of the church. We also offer Morning Prayer services in our ElderGarten during the Summer months and Choral Evensong in the church during Lent and at other times during the year. Be sure to check our parish calendar of subscribe to our weekly newsletter for the most current schedule.

Whether you are a lifelong Episcopalian or new to the church, you will find a welcoming environment where genuine connections can be made. Children are embraced in our community, and there are activities tailored for them to ensure they feel included.

Come as you are—whether in your Sunday best or more casual attire, you will find a place to belong among us. ALL ARE WELCOME!
