Support St. Matthew’s

Giving tithes—10% of our income—is a deeply meaningful way for us to express gratitude for the countless blessings we receive in our lives. By participating in this sacred practice, we not only acknowledge the abundance bestowed upon us but also reinforce our commitment to the church’s mission of service, community, and spiritual growth.

Each contribution plays a vital role in enabling St. Matthew’s to flourish, support outreach programs that extend love and assistance to those in need, and foster an environment where faith can thrive. Together our collective generosity empowers us to make a profound difference in the lives of others and ensures that our church remains a beacon of hope and connection for everyone in our community.

“All the believers were one in heart and mind.  No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had.  There were no needy persons among them.”

Acts 4: 32, 34a

Ways to Give

You can customize a completely individual method of giving, based on how and when you receive your income – whether it be bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, or even annually. By setting up recurring donations to be automatically debited to your bank account or credit card, our Vestry and Treasurer can better plan budgets and expenditures, and provide a more accurate financial forecast.

Online giving also enables you to stay on the path of your contribution goals by ensuring that even if you are unable to attend church on a particular Sunday, you needn’t worry about remembering to make that contribution the following week. With more consistent stewardship, our church is able to focus more on the ministry of God.

Anyone, regardless of whether they belong to St. Matthew’s, can contribute to our church. Donations made through online giving will be tracked just like those received via weekly envelopes. Donors who contribute more than $250 will receive a giving statement at the end of the year.

Online Giving

Contributions can easily be made online as one-time or recurring payments. To get started, simply click the Donate button at the top of your screen or text 262-846-6002 and follow the instructions provided. There are no fees associated with using this service. You have the freedom to choose the amount you wish to donate, and that will be the amount charged to your account. Rest assured, your entire donation is tax-deductible. While the church incurs transaction fees, you will have the option to cover those costs if you wish, but it’s entirely up to you.

Online giving adheres to strict security measures. Our online giving platform, Breeze, has passed all the required tests to be fully compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards. The latest technologies available are used to protect against would-be data thieves. This makes your online giving very secure. Learn more here.

Planned Giving

Planned giving, also called legacy giving, consists of any gifts that are made through financial or estate plans. They’re typically deferred, meaning the funds will not be disbursed until after the donor passes away. They’re a promise, not just to our immediate needs, but to the future of our parish.
