With heavy hearts…

It grieves me deeply to share with you that the Rev. Paul Coey, rector of St. Peter’s, Sheboygan Falls, died suddenly last evening following a medical event. Paul was only 38 years old. His death comes as a shock and heartbreak to us all.

I ask for your prayers for the repose of his soul, for his family in their time of sorrow, and for the people of St. Peter’s, who have lost their priest and pastor.

The funeral will be held at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 104 Elm St, Sheboygan Falls, WI 53085, on Thursday, September 4th at 6:30 p.m.

Please hold Paul, his loved ones, and all who grieve his passing in your prayers, commending him to the mercy and love of God.

Into your hands, O merciful Savior,
we commend your servant, Paul.
Acknowledge, we humbly beseech you,
a sheep of your own fold,
a lamb of your own flock,
a sinner of your own redeeming.
Receive him into the arms of your mercy,
into the blessed rest of everlasting peace,
and into the glorious company of the saints in light.
Amen.
