Feast of the Transfiguration of our Lord

Celebrated annually on August 6th, the Feast of the Transfiguration is a major Christian holiday commemorating the event where Jesus revealed his divine glory to the Apostles Peter, James, and John on Mount Tabor. It is a celebration of Christ’s radiant divinity, the fulfillment of the Law and the Prophets, and a foreshadowing of the Resurrection.
