Diocese-Wide Cursillo Ultreya

July 25 @ 1:00 pm 5:00 pm

WHAT IS IT:

This will be the first diocesan-wide Ultreya for the reunified Diocese of Wisconsin, offering a chance for fellowship, encouragement, prayer, and reconnection with the spirit of Cursillo.

Cursillo Movement is a Christian renewal movement that began in Spain in the 1940s and later spread into many denominations, including the Episcopal Church. The word Cursillo comes from the Spanish cursillo de cristiandad, meaning “short course in Christianity.” An Ultreya is a gathering of people connected to the Cursillo Movement meant to encourage ongoing spiritual friendship, prayer, and support in everyday Christian life.

Following the Ultreya, there will be an open conversation about the future and possible revival of Cursillo ministry within our diocese. All are welcome to participate, whether you have attended a Weekend before or are simply interested in learning more.
