Combined Parish Mass & Picnic
October 11 @ 10:30 am – 1:30 pm
We’ll gather together with our sister parishes, St. Luke’s and St. Michael’s, for a combined Mass at 10:30 AM, followed by a parish picnic. This is a wonderful opportunity to come together as one community, give thanks, share a meal, and enjoy time with friends—old and new!
We will gather at St. John’s Chapel (Dekoven Center, Racine) at 10:30am for eucharist. Parking is available near the gym, the east parking lot, or street parking surrounding the Dekoven Center. Choir practice will begin at 9:45 AM.
Bring a side dish to share for the potluck picnic! Meat and drinks will be provided. Recommended side dishes include veggies, salads, chips & dips, etc. There’s no refrigerator available, so bring a cooler with ice if you need to keep something cold! Drop food off in the gym before the eucharist.
Please Note
There will be no worship services at St. Matthew’s this Sunday. Instead, we invite everyone to join us at the DeKoven Center for this special celebration.
Need a ride? Please contact the parish office if you need transportation to the DeKoven Center. We want everyone who would like to attend to have the opportunity to join us.
We look forward to celebrating with our sister parishes and sharing this special day together!
